Our primary editor is Krin Van Tatenhove, a published author with over 40 years of experience in writing, editing, and graphic design. You can submit a manuscript in Word format for his consideration by email at contact@2ndshore.org.

If we decide to work together, Krin will provide positive support and editing suggestions. This includes developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading. Once you and he agree on a final manuscript, he will work with you to develop a cover using Midjourney and Adobe Photoshop. Or you, of course, can create a cover using your own resources.

Please note that an agreement to complete a project means you will allow a PDF of the final version, along with your bio, to be featured on this website. This PDF will also include the Second Shore Publishing logo on the title page. See the downloadable PDFs under our Featured Writers link for examples. We will also offer – FOR FREE – the option to advertise your book through our blog and social media accounts.

If, at the end of the process, you want to publish your book on Amazon in paperback and eBook formats, feel free! You retain ALL RIGHTS AND ROYALTIES. Krin has used the services of Casselberry Creative Design. He highly recommends them, but there are many other choices.

You may ask, “Why would Krin offer all these services for free?” It’s simple. He gets great pleasure from working with other writers. He enjoys the challenge of editing and the creativity of cover design. His former career was one of serving others, and he sees this is an extension of that calling.
